London’s Issey Cross has dropped yet another excellent single, this time in the form of ‘Tired Of Everybody’. It’s a groovy track that benefits from its perfect production, allowing Cross to jump from her effortless flowing melodies into down-tempo instrumental sections with ease. She explains: “I wrote this song when lockdown finally ended and it’s about going out to see people for the first time but actually just feeling overwhelmed with social anxiety and thinking I'd rather be at home by myself.” It’s yet more proof of her ability for relatable lyricism.
